An experienced Acculevel project manager will arrive at the property and perform a full inspection of any of the reported symptoms. Measurements, drawings and other details such as photographs may be taken. A contract outlining the proposed work will be provided.
So that the encapsulation can be properly installed, the basement walls need to be completely free of debris or obstructions. Any HVAC or other equipment will need to be removed from the work area prior to installation.
A specialized waterproof and anti-microbial liner known as WhiteCap is laid in strips to cover the entire area of either your crawlspace or basement. Workers carefully place the liner to keep it generally clean and free of debris.
Extremely durable tape is used to seal the strips of encapsulation liner completing the installation and creating a completed sealed vapor barrier. A dehumidifier solution may also be installed to keep relative humiditiy levels in an ideal range.

In accordance with these terms and subject to the terms and conditions of customer's contract with Acculevel, the White Cap crawl space encapsulation system is warranted for 25 years from the date of installation to isolate the home from the earth. Our goal is to reduce humidity levels, thereby reducing moisture needed for mold growth; however the encapsulation system does not claim to be a mold mitigation system, nor can we promise reduction of humidity levels. Wet crawl spaces require a drainage system and a sump system to remedy the problem with water below the encapsulation liner. The sole and exclusive remedy under this warranty will be a no charge service call on any tears or holes in the liner during the term of the warranty period and repair of the tear or hole in the liner if it is covered in accordance with the terms of this warranty. This warranty does not cover, and the contractor specifically disclaims liability for and damage from abuse, animal and/or rodent damage, moisture from condensation, water damage to floor coverings, furniture, stored items, finished walls and other objects inside the foundation. Contractor will not be responsible for any damages caused by mold, to include but not be limited to, property damage, personal injury, loss of income, emotional distress, death, loss of use, loss of value, and adverse health effects, or any other effects. This warranty does not cover damages caused by any mechanical systems failure i.e. plumbing, A/C, Furnace. This warranty does not cover any act of God, such as floods or other weather related damage. Homeowner agrees to keep area dry and report any leaks that may be related to our work within 24 hours. This warranty is made in lieu of all other warranties expressed or implied, including but not limited to warranty of fitness for a particular purpose and warranty of merchantability, and of all other obligations on contractors' part.
Warranty claims must be submitted in writing to Acculevel Inc. 9495 N. Waldron Rd. Rossville, IN 46065. Once a claim has been filed, a field representative will visit the structure to evaluate the failure described and determine the cause of failure. This is not a warranty for, and Acculevel is not liable for direct, indirect, special, incidental, or consequential damages on the claim. Warranty is activated when final payment has been received.
