BACKGROUND
Darrell was born in Fort Smith, Arkansas and grew up as an “Army brat.” He’s lived all over the United States, including Alaska. Both an avid reader and an athlete, Darrell has pursued a variety of interests. He’s been a chef, restaurateur, soccer coach licensed by the NSCAA, and a DIY homeowner.
Darrell lives in Indianapolis with his wife and their 5 children; they are simultaneously living in and remodeling their historic 103 year-old home. He enjoys cooking for family and friends, cycling and volunteering at bicycle events, and loves to travel.
FUN FACTS
- His wife Stephanie is a dedicated home gardener. Darrell tries to help, but is admittedly more interested in acquiring the vegetables than growing them.
